De Credico Debuts New Website

PLEASANT HILL, Calif.: The completion of DeCredico & Associates new website marks the continued effort of the high-end grocery broker to reach their marketplace in Northern California.
Developed by HuffmanCom of Napa, the website depicts De Credico & Associates advancement in the food broker industry, their desire to be the leader in their category as well as their love for golf. "Over the years we have earned the reputation as an aggressive food broker," said, Joe De Credico, President of De Credico & Associates. "We have pioneered manufacturer's products that have become strong factors in the marketplace. On the other hand, we're big fans of golf and wanted to add a fun side to our website."
In addition to serving as a fully functional information resource for their clients, the DecredicoInc.com web site offers technological innovations at least for the grocery trade. The website offers a Golf Links page featuring a "first in the industry" interactive golf game and contest. Entitled the "golf challenge", the user-friendly on-line game was created and designed explicitly for De Credico & Associates to help capture the interest of their customers and prospects. "Our strategy was to create a Internet golf game that would be an interesting and entertaining diversion for the user," says Don J. Huffman, founder of HuffmanCom. Although anyone can log into the website and play the game, only eligible players (clients) have the option of entering the contest.
The website also features a dynamic listing of De Credico & Associates private and general labels, company profile, principal bio's, maps/directions and updated reports on golf tournaments as they take place. Fully UCS/EDI capable, De Credico says that De Credico & Associates "continues to move forward in our pursuit to offer our customers and manufacturers quality service."
Utilizing custom sound clips, and Macromedia¨ Flash¨ technology, Ken Rumsey, Senior Web Developer at HuffmanCom, says he conceived the De Credico & Associates on-line golf challenge from scratch. "Don had this great idea and we developed it. Some of the sounds are recorded live literally on a golf course."
